The Heart Chakra
The Heart centre is the place from where our emotions flow. Most people have, at some time in their lives, experienced what it feels like when the heart centre goes down - the heavy feeling in the centre of the chest, which can sometimes cause a very real physical pain. Its natural colour is vernal green.
Physically this centre governs the heart muscle, the upper respiratory system, and the mid-back. Bad function here can lead to many quite serious problems... heart and breathing troubles, asthsma, back problems, and so on.
However poor function has a much more profound effect on the emotional well being of the person in question. Depression, lack of hope, strong fear and anxiety, are all likely if the flow of energy through the Heart Chakra is sluggish or blocked.
This is the centre that takes all of the impact of the emotional traumas in our lives. The centre is very reactive to outside stimulus, but it is important to build a good strong defensive cleansing system to help it to put itself right.
When heart function is strong and even, optimism and hope are always accessible, and the person will feel well-motivated and energised.
