Fruity Fritters:

- Jan

 

Ingredients:

  • Milk.

  • Eggs.

  • Plain Flour.

  • Almond Essence.

  • Apple/Pineapple etc.

Make a thick pancake batter (milk, eggs, plain flour and a dash of almond essence) then take your chosen fruit. Peel and core if necessary, place it in the batter, then shallow fry it in hot hot fat.

Take it out the pan and eat!

PLUS - make apple and banana fritters, then drizzle them with toffee syrup that goes crispy as it cools. Crispy on the outside, melting on the inside, with that sweet crackly toffee crunch. Very good indeed. Happy cooking ;-)
